Once logged in, it may be that logging in again does not work, e.g. web browser shows the message “Safari can't open the page” , this after using the button “Log in” again on the web page of the Belgian government.
- Restart your Mac and make sure the card reader and ID card are disconnected
- Open the web browser eid.belgium.be login and follow the instructions on the page.
- Connect your card reader
- Only now place the ID card in the Card Reader
- Click on “Login” and finally enter the PIN code
