Drivers are not necessary and works with the default Windows drivers.
Test the gamepad in Windows, to check if the gamepad is working correctly.
Go to the Control Panel → Devices and printers.
Look if you can find here "Generic USB Joystick", rightclick on this icon and select "Game controller settings", click on "Properties".
In this window you are able to test the gamepad.
